Function
A contact exposure frame, or printing down frame, or plate exposure is contact imaging device used for making the printing plates. The pressure, both atmospheric pressure and mechanical pressure, makes the film and the plate contacting tightly so as to let the photochemical reaction transfer the original image on the film precisely onto the printing plates.
